  • Intersections and cross-pollinations between music and gallery arts (installation, video, performance, text, archives, institutional critique, conceptualisms, etc.)
  • Anti-colonial and anti-racist artistic practice (proceeds donated to relevant social movements)
  • Cultural theory for practicing artists (critical race studies, decolonial studies, intersectional gender studies, environmental studies, performance studies, sensory studies, media studies, science and technology studies (STS)) (proceeds donated to relevant social movements)
  • Performance: cello, piano, organ; ensemble coaching; speculative and critical performance practice (experimental music, classical music, early music, performance art)
  • Musicianship, with or without an instrument

I have taught music to students ranging from complete beginners to PhD students. As a guest artist/clinician, I’ve recently held residencies in music and art departments at Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth, Stanford (CCRMA), Carnegie Mellon, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I hold degrees in music composition from the University at Buffalo (SUNY) (PhD), University of Huddersfield (MPhil), and University of Michigan (BM summa cum laude).
